promise

For a month now I've been thinking about God as "the Faithful One who has never broken a promise."

Instead of the thought getting smaller and more manageable and familiar and sorted out with the passing of time, it keeps getting more awesome and incredible and weighty and earth-shaking.

He has never broken a promise. Never. Not in the thousands of years of human existence. Not ever. And He never will.

He gives THAT much importance to His Word.

He is the Faithful One who has never broken a promise.

How can our lives show that?

Great post again Emily!
Thank you.

One answer to your question is to heed the words of an old hymn: "Trust and Obey".

I personally need to just trust Him more and obey Him when He instructs me.
